I understand the basics but I am new at this.

I have purchased a 2in1 airbag resetter from China (probably big mistake).

I have removed the 8pin SMD (B57554) but not certain what 'type' of chip this is and whether my programmer will program this or if I will need another programmer. I am happy to purchase another programmer but would like to use a SOIC clip instead of de-solder/re-solder chips. Any ideas?

Until I can read the chip (or at least identify the chip), I cannot proceed further.

All help is appreciated.
