Hello,
I have a Peugeot 206 trackcar with a TU5JP4 engine and Bosch ME 7.4.5 ECU that we are converting to a standalone injection. We managed to connect all the components for engine management on the new ECU, but when removing the original ECU we no longer have rpm information on the car's cluster. I need to know if the RPM signal on the panel is received via CAN network (or VAN, I don't know which network would be used) or is received directly from the ECU.
If the rpm signal is received on the cluster via the CAN network, I need help figuring out which channel and settings I should use, since my standalone injection allows information to be sent via CAN.
If the rpm signal is received on the cluster directly from the injection, I need help knowing which original ECU pin I should use to connect with my standalone injection or cluster connector pin as well.
For this I need help getting the pinout of the ECU and the cluster.
Thanks for the help!
