I need info on the best emulator to get for this BOSCH cluster with 35128WT eeprom.
I've searched most of the prime brand programmers websites without finding any mention to the emulators.
I tried YH35XX programmer from Yanhua not being aware that only works for VDO clusters.
I have original dump + ID in separate .bin files.
Car have already installed SKF (superkilometerfilter)
Thank You
(edited) I found that DP4 do the 35128WT (BOSCH) without emulator... anyone have experience on this??

Hi, yes you can use DP4(elpro) without emulator for Bosch 35128WT (it will say "Unknown eeprom" after but write is ok, no need ID/Data separation, just C12 clip) or CG pro. But you need can filter because BDC. There is some good updated plugin canfilters for ID7 cluster, no-black screen. So need to take out SKF stopper.
I have not been able to reset BDC 2020, if you can, then job done without ID7 can filter for cluster, and use SKF.
Also i have used this method for BMW G 7-serie 2019 and worked well, for Culinan probably same.

Thank You for the info, I was wondering if I can still leave the SKF as a blocker and stopper doing just 35128 eeprom. How relialable is CGpro? I heard some comments that not all the eeproms are read or written succesfully.... I need to find someone with DP4 in Los Angeles area....
Thanks

Here is an update:
1)I read DATA + ID separately with YH35XX.
2)I write DATA file to a used/donor 35128WT with VVDI (35128) YH35XX won't write protected area.
3)Data comparison between both files is exact.
4)Data ID obviously is different.
5)I tried to write the ORIGINAL DATA ID into the donor eeprom, but it would not write.
ID DATA location shows on 0000 to 0030. It might want to overwrite protected location (0000-0010) or ID area is also protected maybe?
What I'm trying to do is to clone the original EEPROM to a used one just in case something goes wrong.... which is always the common denominator when working this type of fancy vehicles.
What am I doing incorrectly? (refrain from saying ALL IS WRONG) [Image:
Any well recommended emulators for this BOSCH 35128WT cluster?

You can't use used 35128, because increment protected and id area write only one time .
Or emul and in here transfeer all from original.
Or new one 35128 .

Thank You for the data...
What gets me confused is the fact that I has able to write protected area (00-10) with vvdi. It's now ID what is not writing.
New 35128 is nearly impossible for me to find a source, If you know anyone or anywhere that sells those eeproms or emulators please, hit me up.
Emulators for this BOSCH cluster are something that seems to be hard to find. Every big brand either way they don't mention the existence of them for sale or are listed as out of stock.
Emulator (35128)from YANHUA only work with VDO cluster. I did program 2 without any results.
Any help will be very appreciated!

imo you have 3 options for this bosch 35128wt: 1.yanhua emulator eeprom with their new adapter and very tricky to solder good and have good result. read/write is no problem. and put id7 filter behind cluster for bdc
or 2. write eeprom with DP4(bmw7/G program) and add id7 can filter behind cluster. also no problem read/write. Gave me only message after successfull write and read: "Unknown eeprom" but everything was good.
3. read/write with cg pro also no problems, only check first if correct read mileage, you have 3 options for 35128wt. need id7 filter for bdc also
i used cgr pro, no issues with writing with bosch, with other then bosch I had only 1 time success writing directly. also 1 time write only to existing eeprom.
for all others I use yanhua emulator eeprom and solder with microscope because the solderings from the legs overlap and short sometimes.

I'm not sure if the yanhua emulator you mentioned before is the same one I have. I bought a couple of 35128wt (small red) and the 35160wt/35128wt emulator with the flat cable. YH35xx states that ONLY VDO clusters. Is there another emu model from them that I don't know??

Yanhua eeprom emulators(used when you CAN reset FEM/DBC: I used only the small red ones. Its usually inside BMW "black panel". The one's with cable are older. These eeproms mostly found in VDO bmw "black panel". Later F-series
Yanhua ID7 filters(used when you CAN NOT reset FEM/BDC): old and new, old is soldered in place of 35128WT, newer is installed behind cluster.

What about the mileage changed on 00 - 10 protected area and 040 - 0B0 ? I noticed that it repeats. Which one or both locations to write on the emulator?
Thanks

Not sure what you mean, but read this: http://blog.yanhuaacdp.com/when-need-yanhua-35xx-emulator-to-correct-odometer-for-35128wt-chip/
What are you writing with, Yanhua tool?
NB. And I read your first post again: you have Bosch 35128WT. So you can change with DP4 or CG Pro directly, no emulator. Then you need canfilter for BDC, its only new yanhua ID 7 plugin filter which will work the one withouit soldering which will work here.
The ones that you solder dont work with Bosch.

I tried first writing with yanhua, but as you said, it didn't work on Bosch units.
I didn't write yet the EMULATOR but for that, I have available VVDI.
What I meant about the mileage is the location of the info. As far as I know, protected area is 00 - 10.
In my file, info in 00 - 10 is the same as 0040 - 00B0 but is swapped.
I have just one emulator available to finish this job...I don want to waste it writing in the wrong area and then not being able to write it back.
You meant to say that the soldered CAN FILTER for ID7 will not work on BOSCH?
Can you confirm which area is the right one to modify this BOSCH file?
Thank you very much..

The small red emulator from yanhua does not work here. You must edit original 35128WT Bosch with DP4 or CGpro. Then use the ID7 can filter plugged in the back. The soldered (replacing the 35128WT) ID7 can filters do not work here.
Also VVDI cannot write 35128WT only 35160WT.
I send 2 files 35128WT before/after write with DP4 from BMW G 2019, dont remember km exactly, 1 is around 136K km.
