Hello! I am new here and new to Ducati's. I just got my first bike, for free. The bike came without keys, code card, or a title. Yes, I know the owner and it is not stolen. The original owner passed away recently before we could transfer the title (we lived in different states).
Anyways, the bike is complete, but needs a good cleaning. Will get pics when I get it cleaned up.
I am going to build a CANBus interceptor/injector to bypass the immo. I might be able to re-write the 24c16 to always pass the correct 0x20 data to the ecu or possibly, there is likely an exploit to explore in the transponder circuit.
I have an eeprom reader so that I can pull the data from the dash and program a t5 transponder chip.
I am going to look into pulling the code from the ecu/cdi for tuning and disabling the 0x20 CANBus message to disable immo at the ecu
