"After reading the vehicle's software from the OBD2 port with my Kess V2 device, the file comes in as .hex. However, there are always .bin files for SID804. How can we convert the .bin file type to .hex, or how can we read it as .bin from the ECU?"

Kess file is always .bin or .mpc. You can try to put .bin at the ond of filename when you asked to save read file to pc. Also you can check that you select correct ecu type for you car. Open your file .hex in winols and see if it will be recognized your ecu type....good luck

Alright, but when I check the .hex file through WinOLS, it reads normally with other files—like when I load it into a rev limiter program, it works fine. However, when I load my .hex file, it gives an error.
