I've MY07 W203 C class and i want to swap my instrument cluster with a W209 CLK MY07 instrument cluster. Everything works except odometer. It displays dashes(------) instead of kilometers.

Do i need to do anything special with DAS developer coding?

Thanks in advance.

PS. I've original STAR Diagnosis with developer mode

Nobody can help me?

I've check out the board and there are two ICs. One Atmel 24C16N and a Fujitsu MB91F376G. Which of these need virginisation?

Do you suggest a special tool to do that?

Thanks in advance.

I have a similar problem with my W203. I presume that because the cluster you are trying to use in your vehicle has more than 250kms in the memory from the original vehicle it came from, DAS will not allow you to set it up on another vehicle. MB insist that you can only replace your cluster with a new one which has less that 250kms in the memory.

As far as I know, you will need a eeprom programmer to be able to do it correctly, but if anyone does know how to do it in development mode in DAS, please feel free to share.

Thanx...

You need virginase 24c16 and adapt dash to car like a new one using DAS.

I've the same question...

I ordered a xprog-m clone and I'd like to know the way to virgin 24c16.

If i fill 24C16 with FFF.... isn't a virginisation?:stupid:

NO! you need dump from a new dash read before "married" with EZS

Thank you m8!

If i don't have that dump, i can't do anything...:toilet:
Is there a way to change the mileage and the vin number in a used dashboard to match to the destination car?

Will it works?

Are there any virgin dumps for these?

There are 2 dumps:
a. 2007 W203 sportscoupe
b. 2007 W209 CLK coupe

The eeprom is Atmel 24C16 in both dashboads.

Thanks in advance!!!
