Hello mate,

I have done this before and upa will work.
I read one in a 206 cluster.
Where it says to join lead 6 of your upa,cut this pin.(Which is pin 46 of MCU PB3. When read and program just solder pin together again.
But you need to set osc to 4194 KHz.

Cheers

ok. is perfect.
connect wires like diagram, lift pin 6 (pin 46 MCU) and set oscillator at 4194.

read and program without any problem.

thanks

Hi friends for r/w with UPA use schematic for hc05h12-plcc52 and dont forget!!! 1. set mcu type 68HC05H12 2. set oscilator to 4194 and 3. lift PIN 6/MCU46/PB3 good luck Wok!

I know I'm probably bumping an old thread but I thought id add you can read this with X-prog M

I had to lift PB3 AND IRQ pins and make sure to set the oscillator to 4194000 or w.e the crystal in your dash says

Today I worked DASHBOARD chevrolet spark 2007a. with walkie HC05H12 and did had no problems on the first try. Enough to lift pin 46 of Motorolas and connect it to pin 6 UPA USB programmer. Other pins connect as directed.
Menu seamlessly connected with Motorola with circular oscillator 4 MHz, and the others did not want so it is good to try as 4MHZ as 4194MHZ and with that pass.

On Chevrolet Aveo/Daewoo Kalos until 2005 one element is different.
The scheme is the same as for 68hx05h12 0H57A(UPA help file, page 13) but only PB3 must be disconnected from PCB - none of the others(Vdd also must be connected to PCB).
Also when reading with UPA set oscilator to 4000 mhz! It doesn't read when it's set to 4194 mhz.
