Hello everyone,

I have a reading problem on a Ford Kuga 1 cluster instrument MC9S12XHZ512. I'm trying to read with UPA USB 1.3.

The instruments cluster is dead and I would like to save my data to inject it into another instrument cluster.

I think my connection is good but no way to read anything.

I've tried to supply the PCB and the UPA USB.

I'm wondering if I should try connecting directly to the MCU?

I've tried , it's the same , i've always too much voltage on RESET maybe because a short circuit.

I've tried to connect directly on the MCU but device not found , maybe the MCU is dead too ?

Here connect.
And put external power 12v in to UPA USB for good read.

Thank you, that's how I connected it, but when I powered the PCB, my reset line went up to more than 9V so I think the short circuit burned my MCU, my last try was to connected directly to the pins of the MCU unsolder from the PCB but no results.

I bought another instrument cluster and on this one I managed to get the eeprom out of the MCU with UPA usb so my old MCU is dead.
In short, I configured the new one for my car, it starts but it shows me 62000km more than mine, ELMconfig does not allow me to go down.
I tried to connect to the CAN network with iprog clone but I got an error message.
Thank you anyway to those who tried to help me

I think if you were able to read the MCU then post the screenshot in the indicator section and your friends will do the correct run

Thanks for the advice,

I ordered another backup cluster instrument and will do this on this one.
