Is anybody using DFOX ori? I want to open a discussion.

Hello,

is anybody using dfox ori? I have purchased the tool since some days but after getting it
by comparing with autotuner + flex it seams to be a bit away from these two..

1500 euro if u want to buy BOOT/jtag
1500 euro if u want to get TCU.

it was more than 5k euro with taxes obd + bench.. (cars and heavy)
and 800 euro subs!


subs looks a bit high compared with other competitors.. like for example flex offers obd + bench for 500e subs.. and 3400e the tool with 1 year sub.

on DFOX :
- NO READ DTC
- NO DATAlogs even for cars..

As by my compares .. it doesnt worth for this price or im wrong?
your opinions?

I have been using dfox for almost two years and I can confirm that it is not worth the price, it is two years behind magicmotorsport for many auto protocols, subscription too expensive. without a subscription it stops working completely.

this full tool should cost a maximum of 3000 euros considering the prices of the competition which are many years ahead of it, and a maximum of 500 euros for a sub, the subs for full version 1220 euros..

i have autotuner and flex both masters and they are on another level for all things..
And one of them have free subs and the second have less 300e than dfox..

I have checked their protocols many of them are 1 ecu or max 2 ecus..
and its very slow compared by other competitors on writing..

i have purchased it for heavy.. but even on them they arent not much advanced like mcm2 mercedes trucks they need to open the ecu unlock..

flex can do obd..

with other words.. i cant find why the tool costs like this and high subs?

in fact 90% of my customers use magicmotorsport, almost no one uses original dfox. I also made a mistake in buying it.

r u still using it with active subs? On expired subs what works what not?

Can you explain by your end the reason of big prices ?

i have found some guys on an unofficial dfox group on FB most of them are not satisified.

have u bricked any ecu by obd?!

I blocked edc16 vag in bench mode, I had to restore in bdm, same thing edc16 mercedes

also if you want to sell the tool they ask for 400 euros for transfer to a new user, a real shit.

i still havent tried a lot.. but some people told me that vag and mercedes even on bench edc16 are bricked alot��
