Hi,

I have an 1998 Isuzu Trooper 3.1 Diesel with a faulty immo box. Can anyone help me on how to bypass this motor as I have tried everything to make a key and cannot succeed.

Regards,

M.

Hi is there a plug with three wires going to a black box on the back of the pump.
I think the center wire is ignition positive.
Check and let me know.
On the isuzu 2.8d there is a dds unit bolted on the back of the diesel pump.
These bolts are normally break off heads.
You break this box with hammer &chisel to find a fuel cut off solenoid on the pump.
Take a wire from solenoid to ignition positive wire.
Hope the 3.0l is the same.
The above applies on old pajero as well.

Hi
You need to break this black box.
Underneath you will find the cut off solenoid.

If possible post a photo.

Also take a mirror and have a look at the black unit.
You might be lucky that the break off bolts have been replaced by allen key bolts, that is if some one had done work on the pump.
Dont worry , If you must break it apart. the solenoid can not be easily damaged.
Cheers
