I bought version 3.4 from Ebay covering VW/Audi Skoda and Seat, works well but there is almost too much on it lol,takes a lot of navigaing about to find stuff but it certainly is all there, Jim.

Hi Smirnoff, isn't Etka the parts side of VW/Audi? Elsawin is the technical/repair etc. side of it.

ElsaWin is connected with ETKA 7, When you work with ETKA 7 on the top of the window you have a button where it give's you an option to conect to ELSA. That is when you want to know the location in the car of the part that you are looking for. If IGOGO would give us an info for uploaded files for ELSAWIN would be great.

You will need to wait quite a wile for a free working copy of ELSAWIN 3.60 2008.
PERLA has it , but he wants to give you a working copy for a fee (euros), it will not give you for free!!!
I will try to find somewhere a working copy of ElsaWin and i will post here for FREE!

i have elsawin 3.51 and although the program is quite small (about 130mb) the data disks for the cars are huge

it can be easily found on usenet but just the vw data alone is 12gb

I had similar problems, don't remember exactly what was the error but I think it was same error like yours. You probably have an image of the dvd and you are mounting the image with a program that create a virtual dvd drive (MagicDisc, Daemon Tools, etc). If is that the case, quit doing that. Just unpack all files in a folder called dvd1,dvd2,dvd3...etc. I used winrar and aftar doing that it installed perfectly. Try that and report back. Good luck m8.

You need to use the Data DVD's about ElsaWin 3.7... ;)
Also BEFORE you start to installing those, 1st you need to create ElsaWin User!!! :)

most if not all of the TSB are no longer on the stand alone versions of elsawin (the versions we have)

the official version (in dealers) is now web based (elsa-pro) so that all TSB's can be updated daily

so the answer you are looking for is NO they are not on there, also anything needing an internet connection on elsawin won't work either

been using elsawin since version 2.6 and work in a dealer so know it inside out

Hint: the data-dvd's are often named like the brands, i.e. vw=volkswagen, se=seat, sk=skoda and au=audi.

Latest data dvd for each brand should be enough. I think they just add information and don't remove them.

I've read somewhere that you need to change the serial for newer version. For 3.6 the serial is xxx36xxx, and for version 3.7 you need to fill in xxx37xxx. Don't know if it works, but you can try it.

Yes it can, my Elsa data is on my D:\ and the program is on C:\

You can try the "xp mode" inside win7, maybe that works.
