Try this, as promised AED for Allison Electric Drive.

This is the whole CD in RAR.
There is also a critical update to 3.1 on line for free.
I can tell you the Key generators the people on DK have for Allison DOC work for this. I have used it already, if that helps. I think this is the only and first copy of this software at this Ver. online.

Please keep me up to date, thank you all.

Hey rp1210a, what OS is needed for allison doc 8? tried ver 7 but it tells me wrong OS or OS version. I have XP sp3, any help would be great.:banghead:

Version 8 should run on XP, Vista and Win7. Havent tried it with 64 bit Win7 though. Try right clicking on stup.exe and then run as administrator. If that doesnt work run as current user but uncheck protect my computer. At what point in the install are you getting the error message? Do you have a modified version of XP or just basic XP sp3?

I haven't downloaded ver 8.0 yet, if it didn't work on my system. I have basic Xp sp3. It gives me the error when I double click on the install msi.exe or the msiw.exe but not the install.exe. after install.exe, win installer ativates gathers info and than nothing. sorry just checked I have xp sp2.

you might as well try ver8 and see if you get same error. Run it using setup.exe not the msi file. I know for fact it will not install using the msi file.

Hey guys can someone help me. I'm having trouble connecting to a bus, did it 2 months ago with ver 5.2,went to hookup today wih ver 8.3 and no connection. Tried smart connect, tried every product listed, j1708/j1939. I'm using an IC4 interface spent 2 hrs trying to connect to it and a few others, no luck. Any ideas I'm at a loss.:banghead::banghead::banghead: Help please

Got it going, had to uninstall and reinstall IC4 drivers. Works good now.

also on a side note, I installed the program, go to install the up date, and I get an error message saying allison DOC is not installed properly? and ideas.

Did you use the reg key in the first post? Follow those instructions and it works like a dream. Uninstall everything and start over.

If the program key is greyed out it is already activated. look in the help menu and it will explain.

What vesion of Allison do you have, if it is the one i posted above, that is just an update to 8.3, not the whole program.

I have doc 8 installed on my windows 7 ultimat and upgraded it all the way up to 8.4 with no problems and if you activation shows 1 then I believe you use 0 for the activation key.
