Has anybody installed this on windows vista 64bit and got it working. I did it on a 32bit vista and it worked fine but on my other comuter it is 64bit and it will not except the password. Any ideas? Also it works great on my 32bit system thanks alot guys.

Hello fellow Dk Friends. have downloaded the allison doc 8.3 and having some issues with it. I'm running windows 7 and using admin rights and it keeps comming up with a registry error and wont load the program. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts wold be greately appreciated. Also just a little Fyi will have to probally start a thread on this but have bought several automatic through Peterbilt and they have a paccar trans cooler and we have had several issues with the coolers cracking and trashing out the transmission due to drivers not catching in time.No the real go getter is Allison will not warranty transmission due to paccar part and not their recommended cooler and Peterbilt will only warranty the cooler. So just a little Fyi for any one out there that might buy Pete's who ever does your specing on new trucks with auto's make sure they don't spec it with a Paccar cooler. Thanks again in advance.

You need to reselect the Inline in your interface list, when it updates it goes back to default adaptor.

I had to reflash my inline adapter with the new update included with the insite version 7.5., Posted by RSwire. I still had to uncheck the auto connect and choose the adapter i was connecting with. This is especially important if you use the DG adapter 5 wireless connection.

hey dk friends having issue with allison doc 8.3 it keeps giving a registry error and have removed the program and reinstalled it but when i do it will not install program I dont want to have to wipe out hard drive to fixe the issue and one have suggestions on how to correct the issues this is the second time I'v e run in to this and had to wipe out hard drive and o fresh install last ime any help would be appreciated running windows 7 32 bit!!!!!!! Has anyone had a problem with DOC not staying connected to a truck? The program seems to be running okay, but when I connect to a truck it stays connected for about 5 seconds and then disconnects. I am using a Nexiq usb link, cpu with windows xp. I have tried reinstalling the drivers for my adapter as well as the program itself. My nexiq works fine with other programs, just DOC it doesn't like. Anything I might be doing wrong?

I never try inline 5, you can use Dearborn DPA, Nexiq usb link or noregon DPA.
If you don't have 9 or 6 pin connector it's old gearbox, i think you need CEC1 cable.
