Hi all, please need manual solution for egr off on 1.6tdi pcr2.1, with automatic solution dpf is not regen correctly, even if dpf pressure is good.

EGR Valve Exclusion consists in excluding its operation by processing the engine control unit without the need for mechanical interventions (if the valve works correctly). In this way, the exclusion of the EGR valve means that clean air will always circulate in the engine, thus improving its efficiency. The dpf will continue to regenerate the same.

Nu vreau sa te contrazic, dar ai dreptate in ceea ce spui despre functionarea egr-ului, dar aceasta masina are si comanda de la coolerul egr, iar daca nu se face acolo, atunci masina nu se mai regenereaza, in concluzie, in cateva luni, clientul vine cu filtrul infundat.

the dpf will not continue to regenerate the same, first problem comes with increased dpf backpressure when egr is closed. with egr on u get for ex 10 mb dpf pressure, with egr off you get 50 mb. its a bit tricky to make it work. if dpf is in very good conditon, it will work. somehow ecu will see that increased dpf backpressure and automatically soot calculations increase, then error comes : dpf regen to long. and its normal , ecu doesn t see the backpressure come back as low as 5-7mb at idle, soot remains high.
