You can't send files with it, it only enables it to sync with a headset, unless of course yours is Jailbroke .

Can't see I'm missing anything at all really, bluetooth is a basic function of almost every phone on the market why do Apple feel they need to reduce it's capacity to transfer files, greed ?

yes you are probably right apple will probably release a new iphone that will have full file file transfer then everyone will just transfer their music from one phone to another, thus seriously affecting their itunes business.Wouldnt that be very smart of them.
look if you want to have these function then i reccomend getting your iphone jailbroken and installing ibluenova.

★★★★★ ❝This app is awesome. Everyone should get this app...❞ -- iTunes Store Review ★★★★★

iBrr lets you control the music on your iPod touch, iPad or iPhone from another iPhone OS device without ever missing a phone call, even if you’re four or five rooms away.

☞Buy once and you can install on all of your "iDevices" using the same iTunes account.

When you’re at home, the office, enjoying the boat or cottage and want to listen to music, you naturally hook your iPod into a sound system. What could be better than hearing all your favorite tunes over great speakers while you work or relax? The downside is having to go to your iPod every time you want change or replay a song. Well, forget about doing that from now on. Make life easier for yourself by downloading the iBrr Bluetooth Receiver and Remote app.

You’ll love the freedom you get from this application. Sit on the couch without having to get up to turn on your music or skip over a song. Repeat the playing of a tune in the living room without leaving the kitchen or bathtub. Just keep your second iDevice handy and give it a quick tap when you want to skip, repeat or adjust the volume on your other device. If one of the devices you’re using is an iPhone, don’t worry about missing any calls because iBrr can automatically pause the music so you can answer.

Nothing could be easier than this app for music lovers. You can mix and match the devices; they don’t have to be the same. iBrr works with iPhones, iPod Touches and even the new iPad. You can use a previous model with a newer one, too, so now that you’ve upgraded to the 3GS, you know what to do with that "old" iPhone.

Bluetooth range depends upon the structure of the building or vessel you’re in. Normally, iBrr can work up to four or five rooms away or two or three decks on a yacht. The app also works when the devices are connected to the same WiFi LAN, so in this instance, it of course depends upon the number and location of WiFi access points and can therefore be quite far indeed.

Features:
● Great use for second device
● Aggressive bluetooth filtering provides maximum stability
● Stays connected when device sleeps or screen lock button is pushed
● Screen Saver Enhancement available - see http://www.i-brr.com
● Allows freedom of movement while enjoying music
● Can work up to 4 or 5 rooms away or 2 or 3 decks on a vessel
● Can be set to automatically pause for incoming calls on iPhones
● Finer volume control - Twice as many volume control divisions as the device's built-in volume buttons
● Large, easy, tap screen controls
● Connects automatically if desired
● Allows for a private security key to control access
● Also works when devices are connected to the same WiFi LAN
● New version upgrade free with purchase

Buy iBrr now and you get not only a special low price but also the next upgrade for free. You don’t want to miss out on the new version, either. Developers are planning lots of new features, like gesture controls and the remote selection of playlists, plus special enhancements for iPad.

Why wait for the new release and pay more? Download iBrr Bluetooth Receiver and Remote today. You’ll get music control freedom, the latest technology and a free upgrade.

IMPORTANT:1st Gen. iPod or iPhone will only work over WiFi. Song, artist information and volume control may be disabled when you play music through docking stations or other devices that control the iPod or display song and artist info.

iBrr was created in August of 2009 by John Reimer at Techno Gurus, inc.
