VAG commander v3.0 clone and v61 airbag

Tried clearing crash data earlier today on a 2002 passat diagnostically using clone VAG commander v3.0, and it wasnt succesfull. Part no. of unit 1C0 909 605 C, VW61, 5wk43130.

Is this unit one with cr16 that i must earth out pin 13 of proccessor to ground?

Also i have just ordered clone crash eraser, does anyone have connection diagrams for this unit.

Luckily the guy had used unit for me to fit, does anyone know why?

Just looked at ecutool and software now is 3.6, does anyone know if i can use this software with my clone interface without damaging interface?

Hello Friend,

I have Crash Eraser, it works good. Please note that the Clear Crash Function in Crash Eraser cloned tool does not work, so don't count on it.

The very good point is that it can read the EE fast and correct through K line.

For the wiring, better to install Elsawin and get all the wiring

VW cars 2000-2004 airbag sensors with yellow 75-pin connector.
- VW - Golf IV, Passat B5, Sharan: 6Q0 909 605 A, 6Q0 909 605 B - SIEMENS - Crash
data erase, Fault erase;
- VW - Golf IV, Passat B5, Sharan: 1C0 909 605 C, 1C0 909 605 F, 1C0 909 605
H, 6Q0 909 605 C - SIEMENS - Crash data erase, Fault erase;
- VW - Passat B6: new SIEMENS - Crash data erase, Fault erase;
- VW- Polo;
These sensors use CAN bus. In some cases this airbag type “crash erase” works only
on the table. If by OBDII connector you can’t erase crash data, try to disconnect, you must remove airbag sensor from the car, connect it on the
table and now erasing must by OK.

I have tried myself the 6Q0 909 605 AH with Crash Eraser, it does not work as i told you.

The K line PIN used in VW5 and VW51 has no function in VW52 coming with HC08AZ60

Maybe is true i have not tested yet ... but... obdmaster airbag ECU is 1C0 909 605 C, VW61, 5wk43130 and this type of ecu has Motorola MCU 68HC12D60
so... :P :beer:
I have post the above text and link for obdmaster (and not only :eviltongue: ) to see if the connector plug of his 1C0 909 605 C has "75 pins" because it will also have K-line pin even it is on CAN connected by OBD in the car and thats why he could not erase maybe the Crash Data by OBD :eviltongue: :)))

Yes you are right, VW6 works great with Crash Eraser.

Wait until you get one Opel,MB,Ford,BMW etc. airbags!Are covered only in Codecard pdfs!
