one astra j the car had no start and garage bought a replacement bcm with matching part numbers .so i go to car reset orig bcm program new bcm into car with no issues (using opcom)
the car go back to customer and he has issue parking sensors and alarm codes and lin errors. the car did not have alarm and parking sensors and i cannot find anywhere to change to not present
so i have tried several times to re code the orig bcm back to car. the first thing it asks me is to choose the type of bcm from a list 0x101 0x201 etc then says no skc do i wish to add. then goes through
the process of coding inc 10min wait but fails at the end saying no key learned .i have removed the eeprom from the orig bcm and re write the orig non reset dump. but still same when trying to program it
i have not tryed reset the working bcm in fear that it wont program again i have both eeprom dumps orig and new and photo of both bcm to compare if anyone can help me here

why, did you not clone the whole bcm in the first place if you have the tools to read the eeprom files

not sure what you mean by clone? as in copy eeprom from old bcm to new but still had to learn new key to car before it would start i thought writing orig dump back to orig bcm would fix it the car had didnt need new bcm
it had a wiring issue common i am told under front chassis to do with crank wires water damaged plug this was all found after new bcm still wouldnt start the car

NEC is the type of chip manufacturer that manufacturers the mcu that is used on these bcm control units read the mcu id mask that is engraved onto the top of the chip to identify the correct chip then you will need to read the processor information from it then do exactly the same with the new one but write the info from the old unit and you wont need to do key programming maybe just initialize

i have done many of these usung used bcm and normally swap the data from the 24c16
