Possible? Yaris firmware update

Hi i bought a yaris today , howver the car was a t2 and only came with casette player ... is their any way i could buy a stock yaris head unit and replace the whole unit for the cd player? Also my previous yaris used to show me my MPG when i was driving / my average in general :/ but this one doesn't show anything

Please can any one advise weather, i could change the unit / or maybe i could update the software :-/

Finally would mileage correction be possible on it :)

Hi just wondering, does the chip need to be desoldered? or is their any interface i use / or a clip which sits on top of the chip ?
