Sorry, it's not in the available serial number database. You'll need to post dump from eeprom. If you don't have equipment/knowledge on how to do this... take it to your nearest radio decoder.

I know the radio... 100% there isn't a security number, that can be used to calculate the code.

There is commercial serial number decoders online that will charge you between ?20 and ?25 to supply a serial number decode for that radio because they exclusively have the Philips database post 2000. Like all serial number decodes they are not 100% reliable.. You should get a cheaper and 100% reliable solution using the services of a local radio decoder.:barscarf:

Probably the code of the radio was changed. I've just bought the car 6 months ago, now when I've made some repairs, the radio asked me for the code. The previous owner (very old guy) doesn't know it, but it will see with his mechanic if he nows (probably this last guy changed it). I've got better radios to put in the car, but I would like to keep the original one. I've pressed the mode button at the end of everything.

I've got a EEPROM reader but I will have to desolder it to read it (could you help with what should I look when I read the EEPROM).
The serial number is correct just checked again PHACDFX8059583.

For now I'm going to put another radio in the car, and latter I'll be back to the original one trying to solve it.

But for sure the mechanic from the previous owner changed the code, because when I took the radio, there were no labels in it. All of them as been trown away, except the one with the model. Here in Portugal they used to put one under the radio with the original code, and even that one is missing.

Do you know how factory reset the radio?
