Hi guys,
I have seat ibiza '95.
seat ecu nr. 6k0 906 026 b
ecu bosch nr. 0 261 203 750/751
dashboard nr. 6k0 919 033 ba
dashboard was taken out for some bodywork and when returned car starts for a second and then shuts down, I have tried to diagnose ecu with vag com but it can't connect. I guess it's im*obilizer. I have taken 27c512 eprom out, haven't read it yet, I will do that later this day. I wanted to ask you if anyone knows, is this file from archive posted in " im*o OFF AND VIRGIN ECU DATABASE" ok?
I mean is it im*o off file? And if I put that file in my eprom do I have to program keys?

well Jonie you realy have imoproblem?? but without diag.its hard to say I am sure in that..so try to folow wire for diag from socket to engine ECU,on this oldie aftermarket radio can cause similar problem..so first you need diag.from engine and from imobox...when you manage to diag this 2 guys,all will be much easier..all you need than is reset ecu...diag from imobox will tell you are the keys corect IF YES yust make reset to factory in engine ECU and thats all..

first disconect radio from car conector..then try diag..not sure but white/blue wire suposed to be diag on this car so check it

I have checked white/gray k line, yellow L line, but there's no K line all the way the ecu, only L line on pin 11 I think. so i thought someone messed up and i have tried to switch them in connector but nothing happened

well jonie..Iam litle confused about all this..this car is ibica 1.4 ? 6K1 or 6K2 line? based on esitronic K line should be pin 29 on engine ECU..so try to trace it all way down to diag socket...sometime you will see few yunctions hanging on fuse box..myne first step will be find 29 pin then folow it to fuse box there you will see few aditional yunctions ...and I am prety sure this wire is disconected so engine dont have info from imobox....
I hope this help... if not put all details about youre car so we will find aditional info...I never make imoof on this oldies..much easier to learn new key or new box or new ecu..

engine ecu 29 goes to imobox pin9 from imobox 10 goes to diag socket..so try in that way

check immo box power supplies ign+ and +12v

Guys, you were right, guy who was dissasembling car for body work, didn't connect im*o box back, car works now. The thing that bothers me most is: I have connected ecu on my desk, I supplied power on pins 23 and 21, ground 20 and 1. I have connected vag-com 704.1 on pin 29 directly with probes and also I have tried with pin 11 and vag com didn't connect.
This ecu doesn't work with diagnostic equipment without im*o box? Now, that all is connected, bosch kts enters ecu, I haven't tried vag-com.....

It shoulg work on bench too..but probably you mised some wire..never mind..it works now..

i need the imo off to this Ecu
can help me???'
