Hi friends, I have a 2007 VW Touareg 3.0 tdi Automatic BKS
I made a serious mistake. I received a notification to have my car serviced at the VW dealership. I took my car in for the "23FE" service, which consists of an engine control unit software update to eliminate exhaust gases.
Well, since I have a Kess machine and my car was reprogrammed, I was relaxed because if I didn't like how the map was going to look, I'd just put in the old one and that's it, leaving it back the way it was.
But to my surprise, they did something that caused me to burn the chiptuning map I had, and now the car won't start.
They changed something, and it won't accept the map.
I don't understand much about maps; I only read the file and write the manipulated one with my Kess.
Here I leave you the reading of the map that the VW dealer installed
Can you help me fix it?

BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been scammed by this forum member.

Shortly after publishing my post, he contacted me via private message, sending me a Telegram address.
We spoke, and he assured me he would solve my problem by modifying the map. He asked me to pay via PayPal and told me I'd have the modified file in 15 minutes. I agreed, made the payment to the email address he provided, and asked me to send him a screenshot of the transaction. He didn't reply again.
I will report him and take action.
It's a shame there are people who take advantage of us.

I already tried putting the original one back in the car, but it won't start. And it's the same reference number as the one you posted.
It only starts with the one they put in 5 days ago at the VW dealership.
Anyway, I'll try the one you posted, which has the same reference number.
I'll let you know.

If it starts with the one you put at the dealership, leave it alone or what's the problem with it, what don't you like about it?

The car doesn't push, it barely takes a while to respond, and it gives engine failures, P0299 and P0101.
The one I had before didn't give any errors.

You have problems with the turbo, or a broken hose.

No, nothing. The car is perfect.
The problem is with the new map that VW installed in my car three days ago.
Before that, it was running perfectly.

The VW dealer changed my current SW, and that's why it doesn't start because it doesn't match.
If you click on the read ID, it tells you the ECU is unknown.
SW: .................... ??????
SW act.: .............. ??????
It is not the one that came from the beginning
Original
SW: 1037386372
SW act.: 107386372

My car was working perfectly before I took it in for the 23FE recall.
I took it to the dealership, and they told me that all cars have had problems with the 23FE recall, and that they don't recommend doing it, but that it's mandatory, according to the recall letter. Traffic can immobilize it if I don't update it. But since I was sure I was going to put it back to how it was, I took it in.
The car starts and runs, but it misfires and has no power.
Then I tried to put in the previous map, and since the SW isn't the same or doesn't match, when I load it later, it won't start.
That's what's happening to me.
