Has anyone had any luck reading or writing ecu of a ford fiesta 1.6 tci 2009 90hp?

I am using mpps v21, and it has the following options

Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi Siemens Sid 206 CAN
Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi Siemens Sid 802/804 CAN
Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Bosch EDC16C3 K-Line\CAN
Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Bosch EDC16C34-2 K-Line\CAN
Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Bosch EDC16C34-5 K-Line\CAN

With all the 1.6 TDCI options it just says "ECU NOT FOUND"

For some reason wiht the 1.4 TDCI SID versions, it find a ECU but it obviously errors out.

Is my fiesta 1.6 TDCI some weird version that is not supported by MPPS v21? Is there any workaround ?

Are you a master or an owner?
2 topics in a row, different cars.
First, take diagnostics and identify the unit.
You mindlessly poke at the protocols.

Owner. I do not have a diag tool that shows the unit.

This car may have a control unit EDC 17. Take a photo of the control unit and then we can say for sure.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V7vX1eRh5w Its kinda hard to locate the ecu. It is hidden behind like in this video where he has to like cut parts n stuff.

If i look up the VIN-code on https://catcar.info and find the control unit the part number is 1558960. But i cannot find what type it is by googling the part number

Yes, are you have EDC16C34.
If your ECU don't response in MPPS, your tool is bad

Arh okay somebody said to try to force Can mode instead of using automatic, since the mpps v21 automatic sometimes does not work correctly. Is this worth a try?

I also heard that some ford ecu is protected for like write, how do i know for sure, i do not want to brick the ecu?

I were you, I would take KESS and make a normal block. This block has no protection at all, it is read/written on the knee.

KESS / PCMFlasher / Galletto - this ok!
Bosch EDC16C34-5 - used on the special "Eco" series Focus and C-Max, 1.6 TDCi engines 90 and 110 hp. Manual transmission (MTX75). The cars meet the standards of environmental class V, have activated EcoMode options and a gear shift indicator (red / green arrow) on the dashboard, and some even have the Start / Stop option. There are no protections here!
