View Full Version : AK400 V2.0 /V1.5 IR KEY

I have generated keys 5,6,7,8 and wish to write to key with AK400. car is w210 lost all keys. i bought new key original key. Information on label of key is A 211 766 3506 9999
This is original key. I selected WRITE BIG OLD KEY, then write VIA IR to Key. It just show information FILE LOADED C:\KEY5.BIN
LAST BYTE SET TO LIMITER VALUE (10H) and the progress bar moved a little and stood there. I tried with WRITE CHROME, it changed to LAST BYTE SET TO LIMITER VALUE (11H) and progress bar moved a little and nothing further..

question.. I am I using wrong key, or AK400 cannot write key at all.. My AK400 test key and it read 100 percent and show it is blank. please help
I have ak400 v 1.5 and ak400 v2.0

hi...ak-400 not good working,you have nec key prog works is ok...Regards

1. AK 400 is so so ok
2. Did you Reset the NEC Eeprom in the new chorme key.
3. If generated keys 5,6,7,8 (U must activate all 5,6,7,8 if not u start the engine after 50 times the system will lock.
4. The Big key u need to write with ETL MC68HC705E6 programmer http://www.etlweb.com/?ref=prod_prog_mc68hc705e6
5. (LAST BYTE SET TO LIMITER VALUE (11H) and progress bar moved a little and nothing further) Your key NEC Eeprom is not reset

The ak400 has problems to write the EEPROM of ESL and sometimes the generated key dumps are bad.
