dashboard turns off after start the engine

HI ! now I have a skoda octavia width a problem !
after tuns the ingnicion on check painel everything on the dashboard is ok !
but wend starts the engine seconds later all goes down rpm, fuel level, temperature level, only timer and millege works !
any suggestions what problem cant be !

the car in quest-an is a skoda octavia 1.9 AGR year 2000 dash is a A4 VDO V22 1U19190346 !
the all ready got a electrical problem in the spark temp and someone turns off the water sensor!
I test the dash but something maybe have escape to me !

I had the same problem with a skoda and the problem was poor contact in two resistors in the back of the cluster. I can take and send you foto if you are still interested.

i have the same problem with my 1999 skoda aeh but i also have a problem with the engine revs will stay at 1100rpm and the once you have reved the engine it wil,l start to fluctuate between 1100 and 1800 any ideas weather it is to do with the dash fault or something else :damnmate:

I think that you have to use the manual that i already gave in post #8 in this thread. Download it and see if you can repair your dashboard.

Thanks for providing the manual:rock:! Hopefully it'll do the trick, since new panel will ruin me at ~900GBP here in Norway... (no kidding - checked with dealer today. represent about 20% of the sales-value here...madness...)
