Hello World
I've been studying the forum and have taught myself on how to edit the Mileage on my Hyundai Genesis, or so I though.
The Cluster is equipped with a
93c66 - NANO Micro Mini 93C66 EEPROM Chip
The tool I'm using to read the EEPROM is a
MSOP8 Pogo PIN Adapter
Software is
NeoProgrammer
Here's where it all begins
The first EEPROM read I did was with an Xtool x100 pro2
I was able to get this .bin file (0OG.bin)
Aprox Mileage on the read being 89900 +- KM
When I edited the file to be 74600 +- KM
I could not write to the EEPROM using the Xtool x100 pro2
This is when I got myself a CH341A Programmer and Jumper Wires
this is the diagram I followed to connect a 93cXX to the CH341A
( https://320volt.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/scheme-93Cxx-ch341a-adapter-schematic.jpg )
I was now able to write to the EEPROM and was able to Read the File to confirm that I was written to it.
Although when I connect it back into the vehicle the display is blank.
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
