starview 4 usb

hi all hope someone can help new to this i have 2 starview 4 usb and the lad i got them off sent me out a usb it is a e speed 5.0gb when i try to download from computer it comes up on my screen on the computer message cannot create folder hope some one can help me in plain english as i am new to all this :bawling::bawling::giveup:

One of the guys told me it has to be a USB flash dirve and support Fat 16 or Fat 32 if thay's any help? I was using a dud at first but sorted once i got a new one.

Don't know myself what it means but the guy in asda seemed to know and said there's did and he was right so fair play.Good luck with yours.
