Mercedes W210 E class EGR question

Hi, Guys,
is there any way to swich OFF EGR on that car.
I meant how to reprogram ECU from this car, so ecu not to search egr, or disable it totaly.
I can open ecu and read it what inside, also i have MB star diag.
