Hi,
My Memphis SQR 88, that have been so good to me started suddenly ruining the safety code, that i do not have. Pretty weird, since it's been working year or so without asking it.
Model: BP8884
Seriar: 7648884412
Safety number ??
This radio went thru good overhaul last summer (2024) and worked flawlessy till last week.
So the question is that how can i surpass the code on this unit? I paid $5 to this one company to decode the code, result was 5112 and that did not work!
When i'm putting the code, the first number can oly be 1 or norhing. The next 3 numbers i can normally choose from 1 to 9.
I hope, that i can get professional help from here! Radio is right now as we speak at the company, that fixes these vintage radios, but for this model would be great to have some instructions about how to go forward.
Best regards,
Rick
