I have a blank and virgin plip key from Citroen (Still sealed). The keyblade is different to the C4's keyblade, so I have ordered a C4 style blade off ebay.
Would I be able to get the blade cut to my car, swap it with the blade in the virgin key, then use Lexia to program it? I know the C4 is supposed to come with two keys, mine came with 1 (second hand). Do I need both the original keys to complete programming or will it just accept the one I have (plus the blank) and forget about the missing key?
Because the key has a different style blade on, I'm also guessing theres a possibility the transponder might not work at all on the C4. The part number for the plip is 6490.A2 - guess its also useful for Peugeots too.
