Ford Mondeo Key Code Needed?

Hi,

Can anyone give me the key code for my Mondeo.

I have one working key but its so worn both locksmiths that have tried to decode and cut a key have failed.

when i had one with no keys i removed door barrel - luckily was same as ign, took to ford dealer, paid an hours labour for them to strip barrel & work out mechanical key code, bought a blank from parts dept & they cut it to code at same time. then was prog'd to vehicle

Hi, I agree with the above post, strip out or ask a local garage to strip out the door barrel and read the key number from the tumblers. HTH
