Hi All
I had until yesterday a motorised 90cm dish with a TM1500 Ci+ with no problems at all installing and setting up satellites using Disqec 1.2, however since having my new Dreambox 600 yesterday well i have nothing but a nightmare. i cant seem to find the sats i was getting on my TM the only ones im getting are 28.2 e and thats it, i used to get 1.0e Thor, 13.0e Hotbird, 16.0e Eutelsat and 19.2e astra,
If anyone can help or would spend some time with me on msn or something i really would appreciate that'

Make sure you have loaded the channel settings. I use the Captains settings on my dm600. Go to setup > motor setup > tick use usals and also make sure your long/lat are correct. Send the dish to 1.0W Thor BBC World and check to see if you get a signal or a picture.

Hello all,
I also have the same problem on my dm 600. I can only scan 13 degrees and 19.2 degrees. I cannot find any channels on 28.2 degrees or 1 degrees. I really want these Sats. When you say ticks ucals, do you mean gotoxx?

Find out you exact long and lat. Then make sure your motor has been installed properly. Have you ever received these sats before from the same motor setup?

Should i use the long and lat values from multimap.com?

I have never been able to receive 1degrees west and 28.2 degrees. Even though the installation guy did say that I had a really good signal on 28.2 degrees when he set up the satellite and motor. I do get a good signal via dreambox but cannot get it to lock.

Thanks westkill for a swift response. I will try that when I get home from work and will let you know how i get on.

Do i go to motor setup, tick use gotoxx function, enter my long and lat values (if it says -0.8w, i guess i type in 0.8 east as the remote doesnt have a - button) and then what do i need to do?

Use the numbers that it shows in the brackets for your post code as latitude and longtitude. We only use West and North and ignore the minus sign.

when you say ignore minus sign do you mean that even though it says -0.8w i enter 0.8w into the dreambox settings instead of 0.8 east?

Oddly enough I can get all the ones i got on my TM1500 but cant get THOR for some strange reason.
Struggling with that one now. I have the following
28.2e, 19.0e, 16.02, 13.0 e but dont seem to get Thor , i havent moved or touched the dish since taking out my TM and all worked fine then.

Thanks

It is not an issue with the your dreambox but with the image on your dreambox.

What you could try is Setup > transponder > transponder edit > 1.0W Thor (satellite) there should be a number 10 try changing this to 8.

Than do an automatic scan on Thor.
