vw golf mk111 immo

i have a customers car here with 2 new keys (old ones stolen in house robbery) 1997 vw golf convertable, i need sck code i have tried with vag commander 1.4 and login reader but niether will get code from immo box. can i fit a second hand immo box a long as i have a matching transponder ( i dont have a reader for hc05) or is there another way.

No. Only solution is to read HC05 (you can do immo off in immobox)

i was affraid of that, i have carprog but not that module another 50 euros.:(

does ecu have immo, or is it just the key to immobox.

you can just replace the immo box with a used one
just match it to the ECU after fitting
no pin needed if you have the transponders for it
