hi, I corrected a digital Veeder Root tachograph fitted as standard on the top of the dash in a 2003 FWD Transit, the one that slides out, now the guy says that his speedometer does not work. The Tachograph works fine displays & adds up the miles and shows the speed, but nothing on the speedo(analog type). Is they anyway of testing the pulse output from the tachograph to the speedo ? Everything must be ok from the gearbox up to the Tachograph, the fault I believe to be from the output of the tachograph to the speedo or the speedo its self. Or can anyone else think of a reason?

Which plug and pin number have you connected the speedo to?
I can tell you how to check the signal once I have this info.

I have not done any connections, it is a standard fit from new. the output wire from the tachograph I think was one single wire coming out of the "D" plug. The speedo is the old type with analog tumblers with 2 multi plug connectors, one black & one white. (no speedo cable)
