remove the mcu and remove the varnish whit the acetone and you can read and write whitout problem
i have alredy read this mcu in the ecu 406 2,1 td
if you remove don't forget to use cristal 4 mHZ
and if you want immo off don't forget to remove keypad

Anybody try in UPA script to use the menu as a part of a filename? This is when you click save button, the file name will generated according to the menu selected, this will save us time to fill a filename in a filename field

udx is encrypted formate done by the script's auther for protection purpose, so you need to ask the script's auther to share uds script if possible!

I also remeber there was one post on this thread explaining a method to convert from udx to uds, you may search it but I didn't try it and can't confirm its reliability :wavey:

yes, you can run scripts with UPA clones. also it is enough to have UPA software to run scripts and make calculations.

just put the script in its right folder (device script folder in UPA program files) then open your device tree to see the script name on the device tree menu, double click to see the script pop-up window. or check the Action button on the tool bar.

P.S. if the script is registered to a certain UPA serial number then it will not run except by connecting the UPA programmer which has that serial number (this protection is done by script's auther) some other unsecured scripts will run for any UPA programmer or even without connecting the UPA programmer at all.

try this fabia 2004 by hcip, extract it in the device script folder then run the software to see the script name appears on the device tree to the left of the screen.

attached opel immo script which included as a sample script, after extracting the archive files in the device script folder, run UPA software and search for "samples" on the device tree, click opel immo to activate the script ,then press the action button to see full functions menu for that script.

The Value should be an integer and not a string
So you need to assign it in Variable A as:
$FF or dec 15

It's working mate, make sure you are using the right software version and that you have put the script file inside the device script folder, look at the attached pic !!

for me this full & cheaper clone).now i try to test it with some script posted here(uds/udx) just to see if ican use them in the future.but i can't open anyone i see always "EMPTY" in the bottom"action",i was copy the script in the right location and my pc is connected well with uups.please if someone can give me a hand!with one script that i can test with?or an answer for my issue?thanks

you need to run UPA software Version 1.2 Build 1.13

all scripts on the previous 2 or 3 pages are working fine without problems, and no need to connect the UPA HW to run the scripts, just use the right version and copy the scripts to the device scripts folder and look at the device tree at the left side of the main program window, to see the scripts names, double click the script name to run it, look on action menu to see scripts commands .... etc.

u r welcome mate, just run this version without connecting the hardware, install build 1.13 and use it for scripts, you may also find other scripts on this thread can only run with software v1.1, so, use different versions to run scripts without connecting your UPA programmer at all.

I think UDX is encrypted format made by the script's auther, some scripts on this thread were registered to certain HW serisal# , but many others are free to run without connecting UPA programmer at all, you can't edit the udx scripts to add your serial, you have to refer to the script's auther, this is only my opinion, I might be wrong !!

I think UDX is encrypted format made by the script's auther, some scripts on this thread were registered to certain HW serisal# , but many others are free to run without connecting UPA programmer at all, you can't edit the udx scripts to add your serial, you have to refer to the script's auther, this is only my opinion, I might be wrong !!

You cannot activate a clone with the new software. Use the one provided with your clone. If you want your upa to support the new devices you should buy the original from Penko.

You cannot edit xscr. This is compiled form of a script. To edit a script you need source files: psc, ssproj, sfm, etc. You will get source code only if the author of a script give to you or if you make your own script. This way of making scripts is since upa 1.2. You can convert the old scripts uds to new script xscr with minor changes. Uds can be edited.
