Hi,

Could someone tell me why some of my channels have a very strange digitised
sound. The actual audio is nowhere to be seen. All I get is very strange chirp
chirp eek chirp eek eek sound? Channels affected are Five, Watch + others

In a bizarre twist I also seem to have Audio Description on some of my
channels..............how do I disable this.......I've got it on E4 and a few other
ones I can't recall right now. How do I turn it off?

Thanks in advance
Matt

The chirping you hear is caused by either too low or too high a signal but we would need your readings to comment, press the info button on one of these channels and post results please. The audio description is turned off by pressing the audio button you will see a box come up on your screen chosse the alternate feed and it will go away ;)

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.

My signal strength is 60% and the quality is 99%.
I am running firmware 1.02 beta.

Ok your signal is a bit on the low side you could try a booster and see if that solves the problems, I have used these and would recommend both although the later is far superior but the Argos one does have the advantage of being able to take back if it doesnt work.

Buy 1 Way Plug-In Aerial Booster. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5344235/c_1/1%7Ccat_10199181%7CElectrical+accessories%7C101992 05/Trail/searchtext%3EBOOSTER.htm)
