Mazda DPF regen. / injector programming Autoboss or X431?

I'm just want to know, can I make DPF regeneration and injector programming on Mazda cars with Autoboss or Launch X431?

Yes you can make DPF REGENERATION With X431 GX3 ,MASTER.

You can do DPF regeneration even without a scanner.

How can you do DPF regeneration without scanner? I have never heard of this! Was it on amazda? Does anyone else out there know if this is true or false?
