Hello I need a scheme to convert 38 pin to 16 pin OBDII, and wanted to know if you can diagnose W210 Mercedes-Bens 1999, 3000 turbo diesel engine With ELM327 v1.5A. Sory for bad English

The conversion kit is not of much help to you. Maybe you get an electrical connection to your interface, it will not communicate. The ecu does not support any of the protocols used for EOBD/OBD2. Didn't have to until 2004.

By the way: your Elm is a V1.2, have a look inside.

38 pin socket pin number 4 = 16 pin socket pin 7.. engine electronics.
but like oldford says no support for OBD.
