Help please i can't open the bonnet on my Rover MG ZT, the cable seems to have gone slack and everything iv,e tried has failed any advice would be appreciated, thanks.:stupido:

if the cables snapped & vice grips don't work, i'm afraid it's down to a bit of brute force with a tyre lever or pry bar to lift bonnet to get to mech

audi a4 have the samr problem to this .. its a pain m8 but as said above .. u will have to play and sometime even break the grill

a decent torch and screwdriver through the grill is usually enouth without damaging the grill but failing that jack the car up and reach up from underneath the grab and pull cable near to the latch (you may need tp remove any sheilds underneath first)

Best tip from me is take it to a body shop. They know the tricks to get in and if they do damage a bit they can usually do a bit of bending back,just dont blame them if they do manage to mark the bonnet or grille.
