Galletto issues

Hi guys,
Ive bought a clone Galletto interface but seem to have many issues in getting it working.

Ive tried 2 types of drivers the 1s that came on cd and VAG K+1.4.

The software loads fine, i select the car and driver click read ecu then i just get hour glass...

ive even tried the installer that somebody has kindly packaged up. also tried it on other laptops, windows xp and window7.

Ive also tried it on 2 cars both with same results.
Cars were Golf4 1.8t and Vectra B 2.0 with simtec 56.5


I believe the hardwaare that i have does have K and L line as i get 1.7k ohms between pin7 and pin15.


Any anybody offer me any assistance please, really struggling now and am ready to throw it in the bin,lol

wHICH BIN YOU CHUCKING IT IN?

1) tRY USING A PC WITH usb 2.0
2) Try installing .net framework
3) Try <windows key> 'pause/break' button, hardware thingy menu, uninstall (don't worry, i'm not) your usb hubs etc, re-boot see what happens

4) Does the PC go PING-PLONG when you plug it in?
5) Unstall any things with a yello exlmation mark.

Look on here for the 'vag 405' thread, down load the instructions to update for reference only (NOT THE DRIVERS -YET), read them, then give up.

my experience with clone galletto is that i bought 3 interfaces and one is working m8.the others give error seed key..

the installation was a piece of cake

Thanks for the replies guys, eventually after trying everything that every1 had taken the time to reply i decided to buy another. Worked 1st time..

Seems the Chinese are rubbish at clones...
maybe we should get heavy british clones or well engineered german ones.
