Hi guys.
I opened this thread to see if anyone already was able to read this MCU with UPA.
I already tryed the connections shown in the UPA PDF and without lift pins.
At this moment I have all the pins at green telling the connections are well done but still not being able to read the MCU. I am trying to read it to find the security code.
If anyone already had this experience please let me know.
Best Regards to all of you.
Nuno

At the back of PCB, on front of player just bellow torx screw you will see 472 resistor and 0 resistor. Remove them from pcb and try again.
LE:
Don't forget about that:

EEPROM 24c08 smd + 92256
locked to immo

Hi lupu_sadu.
I need your help in this subject.
The radio was asking for the code, like I told you I was not able to read the MCU but now the radio doesnt turn on, it is dead.
Is it possible to damaged the radio trying to read the MCU???
I really dont understand this situation.
Best Regards,
Nuno

In most cases if motorola is secured, UPA will erase eeprom.
Same situation i have a few month ago with a MB sound 8000 with MC68HC11KA4.
Check this dump (from a 937 HIGH CD - code 4666 off, can inactive).
Also in some situation, you need to choose oscillator.
