Hi all

I recently purchased a new Starview 5, when I first set it up prior to uploading the latest firmware I did noice that it made a funny noise when the Video wasswitched on. I didn't think that much f it at the time. after upgrading the firmware to the latest one and receiving all channels I tried to record a program through the VCR, however there seems to be a problem as when I switch the video on I get no sound but a picture. When I switch the VCR off it all goes back to normal. I have checked all connections and they seem ok.Two questions: Does anybody know what be causing this and 2:
If I need to return this too the seller I need to reinstate the original Firmware that came with the box, can someone please advise me on how to do this and how I locate the file to upload as I guess if I return the box with the revised firmware the seller will know I have tweeked the firmware and may refuse to replace the box.
Please help!:proud:

after you flashed box you should have done a factory reset and a fresh auto scan and keycode enable, are you using cheap scarts as they not be fully wired,i dont think you will find the original file anywhere.
