hi guys i got a freeview box with smartcard reader built in now is it possible to use this box on a cable feed or a sky feed or can it only be used with a std terrestrial antenna

if it can be used on a cable feed or sky feed what will i nedd to do and what software would i need to get the most from it just for research and knowlage purposes only

I don't think you can do anything with your freeview box but use it for the purpose you brought it for and that is to watch freeview channels.
