03 20ltr laguna drive for couple of mins then wont rev above 2000 revs got code out saying pedal position/petentiometer ive tried the pedal and the pententiometer is about 400 quid anyone experianced this before i do somit daft thanks

It really can be the pedal potenciometer.
I already had that problem, the car goes into emergency mode because of it.
Thake the pedal out, open the potenciometer box and check all the connections with the multimeter, or else you can put the diagnose machine and ito live data see if the pedal is measuring well.

And the car stills with same problem?
If the car stills with the same problem check the wiring and it can be also ECU problem, very common in Opel Zafira for example.

hi there i replaced the pedal with a new one from renault
Confirm connections betwen plugs and betwen wires with ecu and pedal sensor disconnected.
Confirm if any connection to ground.
Water could make many damages.

Hi
The laguna ECU unit is under the battery the connection on ECU do get dirty and cause all kind of electrical problems. So remove the ECU and clean the Multi Plug.

a) alloy wheel cleaner is good stuff
b) Unplug the engine end ie the throttle body and see if the 'same' fault comes up, dude.
remebr it's french no reason for it, just to piss you off.
