Why? Can't you read the 93c66? What is the problem?

You can download a dump here, but you need someone who has an activated account:

CarDamp Base :: Main (http://cardamp.ru/index.php?langs_us=english)

Peter

Dump doesn't look good..Probably corrupted it while reading from the pins on the back???? Anyway it doesn't seem to be OK comparing to tachosoft..

What other details you need to help?

It is an odd one mate ... KMs are on top line ... hex>dec X17... but most toyotas have it in more than One line ... try this ..it cant hurt ..

my dump was from a working car which i modified and all was ok...
i think it was showing in km rather than miles so i have modified in miles....
your original dump was showing 943442 some very high value i modified that to 40000k.. may be my dump was not compatible.

first try your original...

21996 was every think else ok car start lights in dash etc..

first you need to establish good working dump to car then resolve mileage..

All lights on car starts for 10 sec and then stops.. Transmission problem...It looks like 93c66 stores some immo data too.. Looks more and more like new clock has to go in and codded at the dealers now..Unless anyone got a solution???

Hi mate

your dump shows no mileage at all...

try attached dump its around 60k miles if a remember. i read it straight from the eprom adjusted it and put it back no problems.
one thing i did notice if the handbrake button is unpluged car starts but have warning on the display. you can change between miles an km via the display.
also car wont stay running while standing still. need to drive car to test as it needs to charge via the wheels then engine. if car is on and you accelerate engine should start but will switch off shortly after.
dump is from 2007 prius.

to get rid of any codes in the car ie transmision problems plug everything back in and clear with diagnostics as the faults wont clear unless you use diagnostics.

Definately Tachosoft is not right about this one..your last dump shows 83027, so far far away..Probably mileage stored on a different line (lines)??

My original dump shows the right mileage (that the car came in).

Up to now I've tryed about 12 different dumps and havent seen the mileage a want...

I am just ignoring the message on the display: "The transmision P lock mechanism is abnormal. Please park on a flat surface and fully apply the hand brake" I'am just interested on how to do this correction.

Funny one this is....

when i done my prius it corected the milage with tachosoft and it worked perfectly first time!
the fault you have for the transmision p lock mechanism is for the handbrake button nothing to wory about. i will look at you original dump tommorow when at work see if i can help.

But never disconnected the hand brake button??

Apart from the dumps posted by Raf wich showed about 26k all others attemps shoewd very close to 80k..That make's me think tachoshoft algo not having it right on this..

I've speny so much time on this, just to understand how is done..

Anyone has one of the smelecom tools ( specialist or smart) can confirm it can do this very car?
