MB W211 Trans, Adaptation

Hi every body,

I have 1 Car W211. I have replaced the trans, but still i am looking how to make adaptation ( the trans. (shift 1-2) is not adapted).

Any help will be much appreciated.

Dis-connect the battery for a least an hour.

Then drive the car very "SLOWLY" allowing the trans to shift each gear from 1st to 5th NEVER allowing the RPM to go above 1900 & then cost to a stop.!..Follow that procedure (1st to 5th) 4 times then allow the engine to idle for at least 10 minutes! That will adapt the transmission...

Is this the right way?

Did you clear all adaptions before you started procedure ?
You have Star connected while driving ?
It would confirm each adaption and needs them at least 3 times each, correct ?

I disconnected the battery and ill try to make it as Mercedes is saying...Ill give feedback when its done.

I found the exact way for MB 722.6 Shift Adpatation Procedure.

Ill share it on DK with my best M8's :cheer::cheer:

Noted that: This manual refers in case of replacing with new parts
In case of used parts allways clear adaption and fault codes before starting procedure ( By Mr.Qrius).
