View Full Version : Installing a Motorised Dish

I have a motor which has an adjustable bracket which has Lattitude / Elevation settings which i believe i set to my lattitude co-ordinations of my house

however the clamp that attached the dish to the motor arm also has a an adjustable bracket this isnt labelled but has markings from 20 - 90 degree. im unsure as to what i set this value to?

help appreciated

hi, its the settigns for the adjustable bracket from the dish to motor arm im not sure of (the article doesnt mention it) the motor elevation angle ive got sussed

never seen a bracket like what you say from a motor arm to dish

this is the motor... on one side it has elevation on the other side lattitude.

im thinking it shouldnt be set to anything as it could be designed for a static dish that... mm

ill give it a go on both in terms of the settings on the dreambox

my longitude is negative not sure how to enter that

longitude being negative is west. the earth is in 4 quarters... top right is +latitude and + long. bottom right is + long but - lat. top left is -long +lat. bottom left is -lat and - long.
