Hi

Not been involved in satellites for years but now have the urge again!
Am considering the TM6800, had Technomate before and was very satisfied.
What I really need to know is should I get the 6800 base model or go for the super+ version. All I can see the super+ having extra is a rear USB slot and being able to scan everything automatically, or am I missing other attributes?
Thanks

I"ve got an original TM6800HD and its fine if you dont want to do any thing fancy with it and as its an older model you can get new ones for around the ?150 mark. it will scan automatically ok but does not have "blind scan"so any TPs not in the data base you have to put in manually.the super version has an ethernet socket as an extra as well as blindscan.

These models are old now. Try looking at latest models ie tm800/8000 or spiderbox.

Yes but am just testing the waters after many years away and as the 6800 is nearly half the price of a 8000 will probably plump for that. For now!:proud:

I went for the super+ for the blind scan, I thought it was well worth the extra.
