Sat tuner for TGC200

Hi guys another member from SKs,
I have a TGC 200 with swappable tuner,
I'm trying to source a sat tuner for it.
Not had much luck,any ideas where I might get one.

I thought it was only the TGM that was swappable.

I understood the TGC to be cable and the TGS to be satellite ?

If i remember at one point there were some box's that was meant to be fix tuners came with swapable ones from the manufactuers ? which people who bought those ones got a bargin at the time.

Yeah thats true,the earlier TGC model had an interchangeable tuner but later revisions that came after the TGM launch were fixed tuners.If your unsure just open up the box and see for yourself.Has anyone bought from the site above yet???

Yep i have just done and now awaiting delivery, i am away for 10 days but will update when i get back and fingers crossed......

The tuner is on the right side of the mother board,
That's where the cable feed goes if it's swappable it should just plug out.

lucky me so they both have swappable tuners
unfortunately my 210 is a fixed tuner

Came by reg. post, took 6 days to get here,happy days :top:

hi ordered sat tuner yesterday from the mentioned site for my tgm220 , cable still working at the moment but getting prepared for the change, itching to see what this box can achieve on my motorised dish, hoping it does more than my tm6800hd.

I thought the black pearl (tgm 220) & baby pearl (tgm200)had swappable tuners.........I might be wrong:damnmate:

Apologies for the noobie question as I have only just started to look into switching the tuners on a useless black pearl (first post as well).
I had thought that the available channels would be freesat channels only. I did not realise that a subscription service would be available.
Are you talking about subscribing to S*Y or am I just been silly?

Your right and wrong in a way...you can use your Itgate with a fully subbed sly card alright with the right cams etc but also you can google the whole cardsharing process.Cant be spoke about on here tho.
