Two of the British network providers viz. Orange and O2 have announced their pricing plans for the new iPhone 4, which will be available from 24th of June.

The cheapest deal on Orange is ?30-a-month on a 24-month contract, but customers will also have to pay ?101.28 for the 16GB version and ?186.38 for the 32GB version.

The SIM-free 16GB model will be available for ?480, while the 32GB version will cost ?570. Those who want to grab the 16GB version for free will have to pay ?50-a-month on a 24-month contract.

O2 became the second network operator to announce pricing plans for the iPhone 4 after Orange. O2?s cheapest deal will cost ?25-a-month on a 24-month contract with a ?279 down payment. Customers will also be able to grab the upcoming phone for ?30-a-month on an 18-month contract with a ?209 down payment.

Tio: ensure that you get UNLIMITED internet with your price plan or by the time you have downloaded a few games and answered a couple of emails you may find you have a big bill

Given that O2 have announced the end of their Unlimited Data package it doesn't bode well for Iphone users.

Even though o2 did get rid of the unlimited data plan, that still wouldn't turn my away from o2, cause they have the best signal in my opinion. Ill just use wifi instead.

Actually vodafone has the best coverage with over 99% of the country covered.

No phone company offers unlimited data anymore, its 500mb - 750mb max.

Ok ive been proven wrong lol, but i will always stick to o2, even if i end up paying a little more.
