smart forfour km change

hi!

i have got a smart forfour and i have to change the km. Can i change the KM in the cluster with tacho universal 2008? And has it BSI or any other security system?

It was better if you tell us more details about the car, like the year.
Normally in all the Smart cars you must change in the dash and in the Sam module.
The sam module is at the bottom left of the driver.

smart 4 four is manufactured in only one version dash BSI...

You are right gepakg i found the 93s66 eeprom in the cluster and the bsi. But now i don't know how to adjust the bsi km to 0 here are some pictures from the bsi.

and what should i use for it: dongle 912 or smart/accord cable?

i do it with UPA-USB,post dump will reset it to 0km!

if you dont have UPA or ETL try with 912 dongle...

Hi.
Gepakg is correct, with 912 dongle you must connect like he tells, perhaps we will need to connect the frequency cable, my dongle has this connections, you must connect the cristal cable, it is easy to identify, it is a coaxial cable.

Peter, one more thing my dongle 912 only has 2 green, 1 blue and the +, - cable,..there is no purple and yellow cable. Sorry if it is make me more newbie.

oo one more question :) what should i choose after i go to Mercedes--->Smart--->BCU -2003 or BCU 2003- + Roads.
I have Tacho universal 2008

and yellow cable is the 12v, on the dongle 912 so the red one

i try with tacho but no luck, but with x-prog m read and reset to 0

I'd walk away from it if it goes wrong it's a nightmare , one motor I never tpuch

now (1 year later) It's a bit strange re read my posts :)
And I know there is no solution with TU for this BCU. Only other tools......
